INSTRUCTIONS  for REGISTRATION

  • The fee schedule on the printable registration form includes admission to the conference, meals, snacks & lodging from 4:30 PM Thursday, October 14 until 2 PM Sunday, October 17, 2010.   Participants are asked to be present for the entire conference. 
  • The fee varies based on the type of lodging arrangements you choose according to schedule and is subject to change without notice. Please fill out the forms completely.
  • Young Adults and College Students (Ages 21-35) may stay in Tize Lodge.  Two or more registering at the same time receive an additional discount.  (Lodging, however, will be with same gender.) 
  • The number of Single Rooms is limited.  After those, who have special needs, as well as conference presenters, these rooms are available on a first-come, first served basis.  In the event, you register for a single room and one is no longer available, we will contact you to discuss your options.  The date of your registration will be a consideration.
  • SCHOLARSHIPS may be offered on the basis of Journey Conference's available income and participants' need.   Those needing assistance, please do not hesitate to request it.  Those receiving scholarships are asked to consider volunteer opportunities (along with everyone else).
  • Among the optional special events are a fire ceremony and the Dances of Universal Peace, so bring appropriate warm clothing and also your dancing shoes.

If you are not yet able to pay all at once, you still can hold your time-sensitive discounted price by paying a nonrefundable deposit of $100.00 (+ the ordinary 3% handling fee) with the remaining balance due sent NO LATER THAN August 2, 2010.

Note: The pricing of the conference is kept as low as possible. We do need to break even, however. A non-refundable handling fee of 3% on your registration fee allows us to offset some of the costs associated with mailing receipts and information, handling checks, and offering the option of credit card payment.  Beyond that, it enables us to fund scholarships for those who need them to be able to attend.

We expect this conference to fill up, so please be sure register as early as you can to ensure we are able to accommodate you.  


CONFERENCE PROGRAM
The conference program includes lectures, experiential workshops and special events.

Among the optional special events are a fire ceremony and the Dances of Universal Peace, so bring your dancing shoes.

The main conference begins with registration 4:30 - 5:45 PM Thursday, October 14 and ends Sunday, October 17, 2010 at 2 PM.  Participants are expected to be present for the entire conference.

In order to avoid interrupting programs in progress everyone is asked to honor program start times with punctuality.


CONTINUING EDUCATION CERTIFICATION forms from the National Board for Certified Counselors’ website http://www.nbcc.org/AssetManagerFiles/ce/contacthrverific.pdf will be available, if requested on the registration form, to NBCC members and others whose certifying organization will accept them. We expect that many organizations will.  The forms will be provided for no added fee.

Before registering, be sure to read about the  Pre-conference Events. They begin with dinner October 13, 2010 and end in time for  for onsite registration for the Moving Toward Wholeness Conference.    Discounts may apply.

Please note: each of these conferences has its own registration form to be completed and paid for separately by each attendee.  Those attending a qualifying Pre-conference Event  can so indicate on their registration form for The Moving Toward Wholeness Conference to receive a $20.00 discount.

There are two ways to pay. We prefer that you download a hardcopy of the form and mail it with your check or money order to:

or you MAY pay online.   However, if possible and you are in the United States,  we encourage you to pay by check, unless for financial reasons you need to pay via your credit card.  Paying by check makes it possible, for the mere  cost of a stamped envelope, for you to help those who would not otherwise be able to afford to attend.
